Dr. Cherkaoui was a key figure in facilitating the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between the United States and Morocco in 2004. He led a trade mission to Morocco and represented 25 US companies and products at the “Casablanca American Cafe” trade show. In 1994, he organized and hosted the first Egyptian business delegation to California, which resulted in a cooperation agreement between the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.
